RFK is actually educating the people about how and where the corruption exists and what can be done to rein it in. Ron Paul did the same when he campaigned. While no one man can solve the problems of this country, it is the hearts and minds of the American people who can. Ron and RFK speak to this all of the time, if folks can just listen to what they are saying.

We have featured important speakers like Julian Assange, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Col. Douglas Macgregor, and so many others. We have learned from their insights and experience. But just as importantly, we have developed and expanded the network of people who understand the message of peace and are ready to spread it further beyond our circles. That is what this is all about.

He cannot lose Democrat voters in order to win the Democrat primary.

He made his statement about an “assault weapons” ban just minutes after intimating that guns are not the problem. He indicated that Americans have always had guns, and that Americans used to bring firearms to school for “gun clubs,” and no one thought of shooting at children.

RFK Jr. responded, If we can get a consensus on it, if Republicans and Democrats agreed and it passed Congress, I would sign it.

LMAO @ "he might possibly/secretly support the 2nd" - because SSRIs, and a long-dead kinsman? Really? We're rapidly approaching Trump-style "3D chess" excuse-making territory here. The man is a gun grabber. Period. Full stop. Why is it so hard to simply acknowledge that fact? It doesn't mean one can't still like and promote what he has to say on other important issues. ( @Swordsmyth and @dannno have had exactly the same problem when it comes to Trump's half-assed gun-grabbery.)

Easy, friend. You might just have a stye in your own eye, there. The second is a big deal. Along with the rest of the BoR, it's a very big deal. I know, rights are God-given and there for the taking. But people have a right to value the BoR, and some historical justification for doing it.

These people can see they're quoting the man from five years ago. They can appreciate that there's someone running for office who actually says "SSRI" out loud. They can be ready to fan the flames if the CIA is stupid enough to kill a fifth Kennedy (that we know of). They can wait and see if he really has changed his mind on guns, and be amused by how he walks this tightrope, and see if he finds sitting on this fence comfortable.

Nagging won't deter any of these guys. And, honestly, as divided as the country is, their liberal acquaintances are more likely to look Kennedy up with an open mind if these guys are skeptical but respectful, as opposed to all in.

If we are divided, it is because those who are divided from us have willfully chosen to be.

As an ER nurse I can tell you, it isn't much different from seeing the same addicts come in every two weeks (or more often) and wanting so badly to help them, but you cannot. help. someone. who. does. not. want. to. be. helped. Eventually, you will burn yourself out.

I'm gonna need to see some signs of life from the left if I am to be expected to drop everything to go lead liberals out of Egypt.

Ask yourself this: if democrats retook the majority today, would Nancy Pelosi be auto-reinstated as House Speaker? If so (which is likely), the democrats would have made less progress in 10 years than the republicans made in 12 months. Granted, stalling a vote for speakership is a pathetic showing for all the years spent trying to get anti-establishment republicans a foothold in Congress, and yet . . . it is still leaps and bounds more progress than the left has made. But you're still hanging onto hope that there's going to be some universal awakening.

I realize the GOP did you wrong. They did all of us wrong. I remember the broken finger in Missouri (maybe have the state wrong). I remember the GOP in Georgia pulling a vote from the delegation regarding Romney and the NDAA. But for someone who runs around sanctimoniously preaching about building a bigger movement, you sure don't know how to let go of a grudge.

And this is a fair point too. Nothing would ruin a Kennedy campaign faster than a bunch of non-liberal conservatives and libertarians and agorists and whatever-elses trying to promote him. This change is going to have to come from within the left, and my expectations are somewhere between non-existent and abysmal.

LOL @ "Ooh, look! A squirrel 'REPUBLICANS'!" WTF ... ?

All this merely because I pointed out the simple fact that RFK Jr. is undeniably "on the record" as a gun grabber (in a thread titled "Robert F. Kennedy Jr. On The Record", no less)? Really?

A bit of sincere and constructive criticism: your condescending, dismissive, and accusatory attitude towards anyone who offers perfectly legitimate criticisms of RFK Jr. is not even remotely an effective tactic for promoting your guy. In fact, it's quite counter-productive. You hector others about how things that are important to them (such as gun-rights politics) are of no significance or concern to you, and then you turn right around and demand that they give attention and deference to the things you think are important (all while hypocritically declaring them to be "dividers" non gratae).

Now go ahead and sneer at me again while lecturing me about how little "insight" I possess.

Maybe if you do it enough, you'll eventually win me over.

(Also, I have no idea who Del Bigtree is - and now, I don't really care to know. See how that works?)

Don't blame you. Call me a cockeyed optimist, but I have slightly higher hopes than that. Liberals of our generation were for women, against war and at least have generally seen nature and thought about putting natural stuff in their bodies. Now they're expected to call men "ma'am" and let them goon on them in the bathroom, cheer for WWIII in order to spread democracy, and let Pfizer rewrite their DNA.

These SoyBoomer boyz don't lack skepticism. They lack balls. Kennedy may just be the testosterone injection they need to say, this ain't liberalism to me. After all, the guy's uncle, father and cousin demonstrated just what he's laying on the line.

"It'll all work just fine if we can just get the right guy put in charge.". OK, Boomercrat. You laughed at us when we tried to nominate an honest man. There he is, the Right Guy, and all yours. Get him put in charge.

Here is RFK on the record

-allow homeless to sleep, piss and $#@! on themselves on public property. Also give them more free stuff

-Supports free health care to illegal immigrants, giving federal funding to cities that are sanctuary cities to spend on illegal immigrants, in state tuition for the children of illegal immigrants

-Support tax hikes for individual and corporations

-Doesn't support nuclear but supports subsidizing wind and hydropower (lol)

-Would ban fracking, offshore drilling and drilling in ANWAR

    - Would institute mandatory diversity training at private companies

-minimum wage hikes every year indexed to inflation

    - wants universal basic income

-doesn't think welfare recipients should be drug tested

    - wants college cost further subsidized

    - supports student loan forgiveness

    -supports affirmative action

I like how the DeSantis On the Record criticizes him because a donor of his owned .00000000000000000001% of his net worth in Pfizer which is less than the average person owns with an index fund but no mention RFK is a, ummm, green communist.

Scott Horton's extensive take on RFK, Jr:

Some things I think about RFK:

First, nothing here is about whether he's a libertarian or whether libertarians should or should not support or vote for him. The guy's a Democrat. It's just interesting to me is all I'm really saying here.

And the way his Zionism has already creeped from disregarding the rights of the Palestinians to now also being bad on Iran as his great woke anti-racist signaling device is as the kids say completely cringe and for me a deal killer.

He's also said all kinds of left-wing stupid stuff on guns and corporate charters and other things dating back to before his campaign and also recently about signing an AR ban, etc.

So he ain't no Ron Paul. But he's pretty close to a Kucinich, Paul's old friend and antiwar colleague from the House who I think is a decent guy, and is his campaign manager.

As I always say, for example about Tucker Carlson, I don't need him to become a libertarian. I accept that most Americans will not. But I do need good antiwar conservatives out there to lead other good conservatives. Switch a few words out and the same things applies to Kennedy and liberals here.

And so I guess I'm just saying I'm preparing to be quite entertained by his run for the next year or so because:

He is absolutely great on Ukraine and the Cold War with Russia. As good as you could hope for. And that is by far the most important thing in the world. As a factual, quantitative matter, presuming human life matters at all: nothing is more important than America's relationship with Russia. Right now it's completely wreaked.

But between us we have about 14,000 H-bombs, with at least a couple thousand currently deployed. One US submarine could destroy all of Russia. But they have the dead hand so their computers would take revenge and kill us all too. Not that this is likely to happen, but it is far more likely now than it was just two years ago and this danger must be reverse immediately.

To have a chance to have a major party presidential candidate who understands this and whose dad made the deal with Khrushchev to end the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962 is a big deal.

Especially when the rest of his party is so bad on it I could puke blood and they are going to want to find a way to barbecue him for that too, which should be a great opportunity for him to tell the truth about it more.

(I know he doesn't want conflict with China, though I don't know what he has to say about Taiwan. But the spirit of detente would be a good start.)

I think that the legacy of the anti-Vietnam and anti-Iraq war movement still lives among American liberals, progressives and leftists, if they have good leadership reminding them that peace is what's important. I consider it RFK's mandate to revive the voters and 2005 Democratic Party's at least professed views on war. Instead of being Pelosis, they should mean it this time.

But let's face it. Joe Biden is very old and getting very older. It's unanimous that Harris cannot be the candidate. The establishment's best shots are Whitmer and Newsome. They both have major baggage, especially their records on the lockdowns – so many fled California they lost a Congressman! First net loss in population since the Spanish arrived 500 years ago.

And this is Kennedy's strongest issue.

And what's funny and ironic is that the establishment media thinks it's his weakest. He did step in $#@! speculating the other day, but otherwise I think he can mostly run circles around his critics on it.

And I don't know how long it will take, but at some point the TV media and their sponsors are going to realize that they are giving his so-called "anti-vax" views much greater prominence than they ever had, and that their attacks on him about it will very quickly have very diminished returns.

They can keep insisting he's a kook, but he doesn't really sound like one. He wrote a 600 page book about it and can cite all kinds of studies off the top of his head.

Remember a few weeks ago, ABC just completely cut a major part out of his interview, obviously because he had completely bodied the anchor lady they sent out there to get him.

I saw his speech at Porcfest and heard his case that the US intelligence agencies knew the germ had escaped the lab by September 2019 and that they spent months preparing the censorship regime for it and all. I did not have all his footnotes, but his accusations were specific enough that it sounded alot more like journalism than trutherism. If he can tighten that argument up to a couple of minutes and really convince people to at least go see his site where he demonstrates it or something like that, I think it could be a major political earthquake. This is an issue that effected every person and family in the country. I found it compelling.

    https://youtube.com/watch?v=7KBhVwXOkSI

He's also really good on censorship, #Bitcoin, electronic spying and some other things. He has a great rap about the dangers shown by the closing of the bank accounts of people involved in the great trucker protest in Canada and how such things can never be allowed.

You can tell he knows about and cares about things in a much more regular-human kind of way, as opposed to the normal lizard-person psychopath who usually runs for office.

It's true too that the Republican Party has an interest in promoting him, like inviting him to the hearing today. Which is fine and will mostly help him.

Again, the guy clearly does not align with us 100%, maybe not even 50%.

But he is a truth-teller, at least best he can tell, making him much more Kucinich than an Obama – the best I can tell. And that counts for a hell of a lot.

And unlike our great hero Dr. Paul, who was relatively unknown when he started his 2008 run, Kennedy is a Kennedy. And not some side-issue Schriver type. He's Bobby Kennedy Jr. Charismatic, ladies like him, surely soon on the grocery store National Enquirer and People magazine-type level. They won't be able to undo that.

Also, that judge in Missouri just put an injunction on the government's role in the internet censorship regime, which will really hurt the war party's attempt to crush him.

TV is already insisting that "oh he's just cynically exploiting the fact that we all know his name!" but that's just because they can already see that it does indeed provide him a huge advantage. Their crying about it doesn't undo it. Tough.

Just the fact that he's a throwback to a time before the evil murderers Bill and Hillary Clinton took over the Democratic Party, when they thought it mattered to pretend to give a $#@! about the American people at all, is kinda nice.

The thought of him and Trump running a campaign through the summer of 2024 fighting over whose going to end the war first and better while all the TV news ladies cry about it is even better.

Have to wonder whether the FBI counterintelligence division and CIA are working together to frame him for treason with the Kremlin already or if they're going to wait another few months to get started.

What do yall think about him?

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. walks back abortion comments: 'Always the woman's right to choose'
Democratic presidential contender Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he would support a federal abortion ban after the first three months of pregnancy on Sunday, but walked back those comments hours later.

During the Iowa State Fair over the weekend, Kennedy Jr. told NBC News reporter Ali Vitali that he believes “a decision to abort a child should be up to the women during the first three months of life.” When asked whether he would sign a federal ban on abortion at 15 weeks or 21 weeks, the presidential hopeful said “yes, three months.”

“You know, once a child is viable, outside the womb, I think then the state has an interest in protecting the child…I’m for medical freedom. Individuals ought to be able to make their own choices,” Kennedy Jr. said.

The campaign said that Kennedy Jr. allegedly “misunderstood” the question “in a crowded, noisy exhibit hall” at the Iowa State Fair.

“Mr. Kennedy’s position on abortion is that it is always the woman’s right to choose. He does not support legislation banning abortion,” the campaign said in a statement.

Wow - is that what you got out of this?? (No offense, but the only way you could get that is if you were predisposed to wanting to trust in RFK)

    Here are a few observations:

Right out of the gate, RFK is parroting climate alarmism. He talks about subsidies for fossil fuels (there are subsidies, but he uses the leftist tactic of labelling things subsidies which are not). Alex defeats the "externalities" subsidies later in the debate.

RFK doesn't understand net metering. At all. The costs imposed on the grid for distributed generation aren't being captured. They are tremendous. But RFK wants to get paid at the same rate as a utility-scale generator that doesn't impose those costs and he wants to get paid for the transmission and distribution costs as well! And then he uses fear and name-calling to bolster his fallacious premise.

Alex tends to view this from a big picture point of view rather than looking at a single, or a few, determinants, which I think leaves many people scratching their heads. It's hard to look at things in context. In RFK's response to Alex's point about climate deaths and injuries coming way down, for example, RFK says it's a correlation and not a causation. In RFK's view, the reason for that is because we have better forecasting tools, communication, and responses. But from Alex's point of view, all of those things are a direct result of fossil-fuel powered energy. And he's 100% right.

RFK leans HEAVY on anecdotal evidence rather than data. "My house" "People I work with" "My dad told me"...

Also, gotta love the vaccine tangent RFK goes off on - obviously a subject he feels more comfortable about - but he missed Epstein's point entirely. Epstein was saying that you look at costs and benefits - not just costs. You need to understand the full picture. Full impacts. They both agree to not ignore the costs, but Epstein wants to stop ignoring the benefits, too. Then RFK called that an attack?? And questioned his debate tactics???

RFK and Alex both agree that the cheapest cost energy solution should be best - however, Alex is way more knowledgeable about which solutions are cheapest. RFK is relying on Bloomberg - Alex is looking at real world costs. The only way to make solar and wind appear cheaper is to only look at a piece of their costs rather than the full scope.

And contrary to your take, RFK is saying that the government needs to create a market where individual people can compete. The problem is that the only way that can happen is if they aren't paying the full costs of their impacts. The grid is a complex machine and yes, it's set up in a way that discourages individual participation. But what RFK is suggesting is a whole new machine that is prohibitively expensive. And he wants government to build it! And then we'll have "free energy forever!" Sorry, that's not reality - that's a pipe dream.

RFK says carbon pollution is killing 400,000 people a year in Beijing. Not sure where he's getting those numbers, but he's clearly overlooking the number of people who are only alive because of fossil fuels. That number is WAY higher!

Finally, it's funny to me that you came away thinking that a Randian like Alex wanted more laws and subsidies, and that RFK was advocating for true free markets. That is 180 degrees from what I watched. I watched a composed Epstein explaining the full picture of costs and benefits and an emotional RFK appealing to fear and showing his lack of understanding of energy issues.

The nice thing about debates via video is that others may view it and come to their own conclusions.

I don't think in terms of left versus right. I think in terms of dollars, taxes and bailouts. And the Price-Anderson Act of which I oppose.

If I am capturing/providing energy from my home and redirect it to a grid, I want paid too, which should be negotiated between me and whatever company. I could be wrong, but I don't believe much time was afforded to RFK to explain his entire position.

Alex tends to view this from a big picture point of view rather than looking at a single, or a few, determinants, which I think leaves many people scratching their heads. Details, scientific studies, that are not skewed by monopolies, lobbyists and politicians are what is important to me. Alex failed to cite any data that convinced me. So, off to the interwebs for me to research on my own.

RFK leans HEAVY on anecdotal evidence rather than data. "My house" "People I work with" "My dad told me"...
Noise which I don't pay attention to regardless of side.

Also, gotta love the vaccine tangent RFK goes off on - obviously a subject he feels more comfortable about - but he missed Epstein's point entirely. Alex took RFK out of context several times and the debate was not long enough to have a lengthy discussion. I have listened to RFK in many interviews to understand his positions.

There is no support for that claim when true free markets do not exist, subsidies are passed out like candy and the government regulates most everything. RFK's position is that if/when you get government out of the way the true free market should determine winners and losers. This is not the only time that he has tried to explain that. Alex sounds like a shill for the corporate monopolies.

And contrary to your take, RFK is saying that the government needs to create a market where individual people can compete. The problem is that the only way that can happen is if they aren't paying the full costs of their impacts. Did I miss something? Can you point to the specific minute mark where he said he "wants government to build it"?

RFK says carbon pollution is killing 400,000 people a year in Beijing. Not sure where he's getting those numbers, but he's clearly overlooking the number of people who are only alive because of fossil fuels. That number is WAY higher!
I did not cross-reference that so I cannot confirm or deny. I do know that in here in America toxic chemicals are airborne, water and ground have been contaminated, etc. and class action suits have been filed and won. Like the VAX, RFK has been a leader in exposing the truth. Has Alex? Or has he simply ignored that data?

Finally, it's funny to me that you came away thinking that a Randian like Alex wanted more laws and subsidies, and that RFK was advocating for true free markets. That is 180 degrees from what I watched. I watched a composed Epstein explaining the full picture of costs and benefits and an emotional RFK appealing to fear and showing his lack of understanding of energy issues.
It's funny to me that what you got out of this debate is 180 degrees from what I got out of this debate. I support true Free Markets.

So, that's more than a buzzword. RFK uses that as a buzzword, but then says that government needs to create a free market in energy by building the platform for it to exist (I'm not going thru the 2+ hours again to find the references, but he was talking about how the government stood up the internet and some other technology... He was pretty clear)

But the "platform" that RFK is talking about is a whole new electric grid that allows for and reacts to 2-way power flow. It is possible. But it's CRAZY expensive. And the margins that an individual distributed generator could make would be so low that they'd never be able to pay off the investment. In many states, there are net-metering provisions, but there are HUGE interconnection costs that are not borne by the generator. They are paid for by everybody else. This is why Alex (who has done his research) talks about the places where this has been tried ends up with higher energy costs; not lower.

You really do get economies of scale in generation. And distributed generation, while great for personal use, adds enormous costs when interconnected to the grid. RFK doesn't want those generators to bear that cost. So a true free market??? Nope.

Sorry, RFK is too far out over his skis on energy issues. He doesn't know what he's talking about and that's why he's all flustered. Listen, I know you want to like the guy, but you don't have to support everything he says. Epstein is the truer market voice in that conversation, by far.

Fossil fuels are the captured solar energy of millennia of organisms that we can release by burning. That will always be a more market efficient means of energy than trying to capture the wind or sun in real time. Nuclear energy, of course, being the MOST efficient.

It's a buzzword that Democrats are not too familiar with. Or most republicans for that matter.

He doesn't know what he's talking about and that's why he's all flustered.
RFK is an intelligent man. As to why he's flustered... even when I don't like given candidates, it is rude to interrupt, misquote and take out of context.

Listen, I know you want to like the guy, but you don't have to support everything he says.
Sure, I like the guy. I don't know every stance on every issue. But when it comes to talking about Free Markets, Captive Agencies, Subsidies, Price-Anderson Act, and the difference between Climate Change and Climate Engineering, the latter of which Gates, WEF, governments are participating/investing in, RFK is the vehicle of which Democrats can at least listen and learn. Trump, DeSantis, any running R for that matter, there is no way that Democrats will give those moronic bozos the time of day - not that I would ever suggest it.

Epstein is the truer market voice in that conversation, by far.
Truer market voice LOL? Supporting subsidies, more laws and legislation, while belittling innovation - in my mind he is another cog in the wheel and part of the problem.

Fossil fuels are the captured solar energy of millennia of organisms that we can release by burning. That will always be a more market efficient means of energy than trying to capture the wind or sun in real time. Nuclear energy, of course, being the MOST efficient.
My response to that is let the free market determine that. Not you, not Epstein, not me or RFK. As it stands and exists today, there is no way to know. What I do know is, I am planning off-the-grid in the near future, and wind/solar is what I am looking at.

No worries, @CaptUSA , I don't vote anyway. My goal is to strike up more conversations and help reach as many people as I can to the foundations of liberty. RFK is helping me do just that.

There are many things we can do to address this problem. Soon I will be announcing a program to make homes affordable again. The centerpiece is an approach that will reduce interest rates to 3% for millions of new mortgages. It’s a version of the approach first proposed by my uncle, President John F. Kennedy, 60 years ago. We need it now. #Kennedy24
